Please Handle With Care

I dont know about you but I always want to touch everything.  I always have.  In fact as a child I was always getting into trouble for touching things I shouldn´t.  And walking on the grass of  course, touching with your feet. So I encourage everyone to touch my work.  But I do ask them to do so with care because actually quite alot of what I make is quite fragile.  The fabrics are often very old, some of them over a 100 years and many of my installatons are deliberately a little unstable but that’s all part of the haptic, interactive experience I try to create.
